Then I got instrument single and multiengine commercial in Bullhead City Arizona, getting my CFI in 2001, and after that I got my CFII, MEI and ATP.

I went to Golden Wings Flying Club in Long Beach, Ca. Then Van Nuys Aero Club.I teach Private, Instrument for single and multiengine airplanes, as well as commercial and Flight Instructors.

He started taking flying lessons at Vista Air in 2002 at the age of twelve.  After soloing at age 16, he completed his Private Pilot Certificate at the age of 18. Soon thereafter he completed his Instrument Rating, Commercial and CFI at Van Nuys Airport.  Michael spent four years working with the Burbank Police Department in Southern California and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Intelligence Management from Henley-Putnam University.  His passion for aviation motivates him to inspire new students to be safe and proficient pilots.

I was born in Glendale, Ca and grew up and graduated in La Canada.  I received my private pilot certificate while still in high school and have been flying ever since.  I went to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in AZ and earned my bachelors degree in Aeronautical Science in 2003.  I became a Flight Instructor at Vista Air in 2003 also.  I have flown over 5,000 hours.  I teach Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI and Garmin 1000 transition courses.  I am a CFII/AGII with a Gold Seal.  In my spare time I enjoy ice hockey, and I am in an adult league with one of Vista’s long time Customers.  I enjoy trips to Mexico with my ATV and sandrail.  I am a proud new Uncle of my sister‘s baby boy.  I enjoy spending time with my family deep sea fishing, snowboarding and wakeboarding.  I am also a certified EMT for the State of Ca and Nationally with NREMT.

Chuck Warnick

Charles E. Warnick, Commonly known as “Chuck”, is rated in  ASEL, AMEL, CFI, CFII, AGI.  Chuck started flying in 1964 and has been flying out of Van Nuys and Whiteman since 1968. He has been Flying out of Vista Air since 1993 and Instructing out of Vista Air since 1995, And has accumulated over 7000 hours of Dual Instruction given. Chuck specializes in the advanced ratings “Instrument, Commercial and CFI”.  He is proficient in many “Makes and Models”,  including Cessna, Mooney, Beechcraft and  Piper aircraft, also Conventional Gear (Tail dragger)  and TAA (Glass Panel)  aircraft. Chuck has also been instrumental in teaching many of the current instructors.  Chuck owns a Mooney and also has a Cessna 172 for rent at Vista Air.
